Root Couple questions on rooting

If I do "TheBiles" tutorial and rooting and complete it using the stock rom. Will I be able to update my phone like you normally would on the phone without it being rooted or Do i have to download a new stock rom everytime sprint comes out with a new update.

2nd question... If i do this root and say my phone breaks is it undetectable by the sprint warranty department and insurance or does doing this void my warranty

Most roms wont let the update be applied. You would have to wait for the people that make the rom to make a patch for it.

second: you can just flash back to stock and they wont be able to tell that you rooted.

As far as i know his tutorial was with flashing to a rooted stock rom.


So what your saying is that i would need to flash to an unrooted stock rom correct?

where can i get that from?
