i have a droid eris,im thinking of getting an incredible.can somebody tell me if they have made the same switch and if the battery life is better, the same or worse to the eris. i realize this will very by user im hoping to find some eris users that switched. but if you have a incredible and want to tell me your opinion on the battery life, fine by me. i use mine on and off some phone calls, some texts, some emails and check facebook a couple times a day.some times more sometimes less. as long as i dont use my pandora radio i make it through the day before i need a charge, but i always charge at night. thanks

My wife has an Eris and I have the Inc. Her battery life is FAR superior to mine. Of course mine is way faster, has a bigger screen, and I use it a little more than she does. I accidentally had GPS and mobile network on today, as well as a couple apps that run in the background and I unplugged it at 9AM and it was completely dead at 3:00PM. Typically I can unplug it at 8 and it lasts barely til 5 with a couple calls but a lot of other use.

Neither is great, I had an Eris before the Incredible and I got worse battery life then I do with my Incredible .. FAR WORSE, even new batteries and hard resets my battery never lasted the whole day with the Eris usually was dead by 4pm with my Incredible and the stock battery I got till about 8pm.

I would highly reccomend getting either a TouchPro2 1500mah battery or the Seidio 1750 battery . Had both and were a huge upgrade over the stock Incredible battery for not much more.

Same here, I had the Eris, same stock batt, was about the same for me on time between charge, which is to say crappy. I also upgraded to a non-OEM battery for my Dinc, 1600 mAh in my case. Now get through a whole day with no problem. Facts of life for smartphone users, now.

Does your 1600 battery fit with the OEM battery door?

It left a very slight gap at the bottom of the phone but with some "finagling" of the battery (won't go into detail) it fits more or less flush now. Sort of a moot issue in my situation because I use a silicone case now. If you're interested PM me and I'll try to dig up the link to the batt.
