Arcade stick for my EVO

Hi everyone. I'm a first time smart phone buyer. The EVO is amazing. Saw there were some emulators for it and I thought it would be awesome to make a mini arcade stick. I have mini versions of pushbuttons and small joysticks that would be perfect. I would love to game out at work.

I know it might seem like over kill for something like a phone but I'm going to make one any way in hopes emulation gets better.

I make joysticks on the side. I've made many for the PS3, 360, wii. I just bought the BGP100 but there aren't any drivers for the EVO yet. Does anyone know if there's any development on it? If not then I'm planning to mod one out of a keyboard if I can find one that's cheap. Kinda new to the phone scene. Do any of you guys know of a decent cheap keyboard that works? Any way just wanted to throw that out there.

This was the first stick I made. I actually made a arcade stick out of a coffee table 2 years ago.

The BGP100 would be a piece of cake if we eventually get drivers for the EVO.

How much for one of those coffee tables!?!?! That thing is awesome.

They go for around 300 bones. I really don't make much profit from it. Just a labor of love. Most of the cost goes towards the console controller, joystick, buttons, wiring and of course the table. Sometimes you can find awesome deals for tables at your local Goodwill and repaint or stain them. That's what I did with the one in the first video I posted.

My EVO joystick is definitely going to be a challenge. I don't want it too big but not too small to where it's not functional. Time to hit the drawing board. Pretty excited. Gotta find a good cheap keyboard to hack up or cross my fingers and hope a driver is released for the BGP100.

I also make portable boxes. I even create original art for them. Fun stuff.

Awesome stuff bro. (op)

If only you were a dev and could do a dirty port of that SF4 game for the iphone that capcom has.

Bitch ass move leaving android out like that.

I would absolutely go crazy if Capcom ported that game to Android. And better yet it had the option to assign true arcade buttons instead of the touch controls. The CPS1 emulator should do the trick for now. The SNES emulators would work as well. Can't wait to play U.N. Squadron and all the other side scrollers out there.

I actually bought a ipod a month before the EVO came out just to play street fighter and try out Sketchbook mobile. I knew I was going to return it so it was a fun experiment.

I did this on sketchbook mobile on the ipod touch. I'm praying they release this on Android.
