I love the Mytouch Slide. It's my first smart phone and I think it's great! I played with a Nexus One for the first time yesterday though, and it had an awesome feel. It was much thinner (the mytouch slide has a pull out keyboard), and lighter. It also just felt sturdier. On the other hand, the mytouch slide has actual buttons to press for home, back, menu, and it has the genius button. I like having the hard buttons... And the genius button has been really great. When I am driving I just tell it who to call and it does it. I am also concerned over the AMOLED screen on the Nexus One because I keep reading reports of screens breaking. I am having a hard time deciding also, if the extra $ would be worth it. The Mytouch slide I have is already really fast. In fact, the guy who let me see his Nexus One took my phone and played with it and he was surprised to see their speeds were pretty much the same as well as the touch responsiveness. I do know though, that Mytouch slide will not be getting gingerbread, but Nexus One will. Should I keep the slide or return it for the Nexus One? I haven't had it long and I was told when I bought it straight out that I would have 30 days to return it.
Thanks!
