Just picked up a new white Evo.

Best buy called me and said they just got the white evo's today. Hardware is still 003. The phone feels lighter though?? Maybe its just me idk. Pics to come soon.

UPDATE: My first full charge lasted 24 hours. Went from 100% to 25% Heavy usage! Lots of texts, playing around with phone, hours of pandora, music player, watched a bunch of youtube. Im happy with it.

As you can see build date is June 14th. White back, white and black side. The phone comes with a new box that shows the white evo. Charger and sync cord are still black. Took a pic of the phone with the date so you know its real.

It is smooth gloss on the back unlike my black evo. Its just a tiny less grippy then the black.

Oh, okay. So you're in Sprint Central, basically. Maybe that's why Best Buy got their shipment so quickly there.

Then again, the Best Buy I ended up pre-ordering through (even though I was able to get a replacement for my bricked phone this past weekend) told me that the 7th was the release date (even though they changed their tune to the 11th). Maybe they were actually being 100% truthful, but just didn't want to divulge the early release.

Anyhow, I hope they hold to there word and still allow me to exchange for the white one. Looks nice! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Let me check...... The back of the battery cover feels just like my black one did, kind of rough. Ill point out though that the gloss white of the back is more of a white and the white on the side of the phone is more off white. Still looks good when you have it in your hand.

Sorry i thought you ment the back of the battery cover. No the back and the side of the phone are all smooth gloss. They feel the same.

I like the look of the back, not sure if it would annoy me that the front is still black though. It is a sharp looking phone either way.

Granted, I already have a black one, so the point is moot, but I don't think it would matter to me what color the phone is. Due to the protruding camera lens, I opted for a case (which I normally do not do) just so the lens doesn't site on the table if I lay it flat on its back.
