Called today to check on my Inc replacement status (ordered 6/9). It was supposed to ship on 6/30, but got pushed back another week. The rep, who was way more knowledgeable than previous ones, could not even give a ship date today and, without directly saying anything, strongly urged me to get the Droid X...and basically told me there is NO SHIP DATE for the Inc replacements. Nothing in the computer as of today.
I know she knew her stuff. She was even able to cancel my Inc order (seems simple, but...) which other reps could not, or would not, do. She was on top of everything and even promised to monitor my account so they wouldn't charge the retail amount to my card when my phone ships back.
I am now getting the Droid X and am very glad I waited as I believe there are BIG PROBLEMS with the Inc.. Plus, Verizon gave me $50 off the phone for my troubles, so I am basically saving $110 because I won''t have to buy an extended battery now since the Inc battery sucks.
