Incredible ship date indefinite?!

Called today to check on my Inc replacement status (ordered 6/9). It was supposed to ship on 6/30, but got pushed back another week. The rep, who was way more knowledgeable than previous ones, could not even give a ship date today and, without directly saying anything, strongly urged me to get the Droid X...and basically told me there is NO SHIP DATE for the Inc replacements. Nothing in the computer as of today.

I know she knew her stuff. She was even able to cancel my Inc order (seems simple, but...) which other reps could not, or would not, do. She was on top of everything and even promised to monitor my account so they wouldn't charge the retail amount to my card when my phone ships back.

I am now getting the Droid X and am very glad I waited as I believe there are BIG PROBLEMS with the Inc.. Plus, Verizon gave me $50 off the phone for my troubles, so I am basically saving $110 because I won''t have to buy an extended battery now since the Inc battery sucks.

Hmm well that can't be good. I don't think its a matter of big problems with the Dinc but the lack of AMOLED screens. This might be the point where they switch to the LED screens or maybe she is right and HTC and Verizon just decided to scrap the phone due to supply issues but are not saying it yet. I'm interested to see where this goes.

But I gotta say, I am actually enjoying all of the "I canceled my DINC for the X" threads. It simply means less people in line for the wait.

If enough people give up, maybe I will get my phone early

I love the bottom feeders in this forum. I seem to really stir people up and I LOVE IT!!!

AND, I still technically still own a Dinc, but is fried and in the box in my room waiting to be shipped back. Guess you're not so smart eh?

yeah, the Dinc has been a nightmare but I freed myself today and cancelled it. I liked the phone, but not the headache of getting it.

They really should make everyone complete a basic math test that will seed out all the 12 year olds that find their way into the forum.

Wrong, the only person that 'owns' anything round here is the site owner. He sets the Forum Rules, so I suggest that everyone take another look through them to avoid any more unpleasantness.
