fm transmitter recommendation for Droid

Since my car stereo doesn't have an aux input I am looking for a good fm transmitter. I used to have an Alpine car stereo for my iPhone, but I don't own an iPhone any longer so I put my factory stereo back in.....I basically wanted to forget anything associated with an iPhone as you can tell....

I recently bought the Soundfly SD WMA/MP3 Player Car Fm Transmitter off of Amazon for about $35 and it is pretty awesome. You can choose pretty much any station you want and it cuts out the signal perfectly. It is really highly reviewed on Amazon too. It also takes USB and SD cards, so you don't have to drain your Droid's battery to listen to music. It also has a remote! I would check it out. My only complaint is the the audio cable is a 2.5 to 3.5 and it is not very long. That is easily remedied with a cheap extension cable though.

Yes. It only connects over bluetooth, but any audio from the phone comes over it. The speakerphone is really good, and the FM transmission is also. I have a wall charger from something else I use with it most of the time.

Check out this thread. I PM'd johnlgalt, just curious about the T505, and he highly recommended it. I bought it, and I'm happy.

I'm going to be getting this soon though, to put in my civic I just bought..

I love the MotoRokr T505. Bluetooth from the Droid the T505, then it wirelessly transmits to your FM stereo. Flawless, static-free transmission to your stereo. Works with any/all apps that normally output through the speaker. Music automatically cuts in and out for calls, and also for voice guided navigation instructions. Works great as a bluetooth speakerphone.

I'm not really a big fan of fm transmitters but I have one that I use for one of my cars. I think it's the best one out there. it's a Motorola t505 it uses bluetooth to connect but also uses an FM transmitter to send music to your stereo. No wires needed looks cleaner.

I thought you had an Alpine ida-300? I would have kept that on your car and just bought a USB to 3.5mm adapter. I think that should work. It's really cheap too.
