Ouch--just read a hurtful article from Bloomberg Columnist

I have a Droid X reserved at Best Buy (and I know I was the second one to do so).

I have a Mac and an iPad (3G)... I don't want an iPhone, even if it's on Verizon. I think the DX is freakin' SLICK, and its size might make it pretty useful. I have a Blackberry Storm now which I despise more than I could possibly describe.

I've been watching the Droid devices closely since the original one came out. I would have gotten one then but it was soon after the Storm came out, so I was locked in. Now I can finally be rid of the POS Blackberry and get a real device.

Article seemed very favorable to the X. The meaty paw point is valid and I agree. Using the EVO or X with one hand is awkward, unless you have bigger meaty paws or Mr. Fantastic's thumbs.

One thing he did not mention:

I am surprised the display is not as nice quality as the Moto Droid's. For whatever reason, it is over-sharp to the point of causing text jaggies. Weird. Text looks better on the Inc- double weird, considering the Moto Droid's look's better than the Inc in regards to text.

Added: Nope, the review was impartial and did not bow to either device and pointed out valid issues some consumers may have. The Moto Blur comment may be off, considering whatever Droid X has, it is not the suck-like Blur on the Cliq.

I didn't think the X was hard to do one-handed and I don't have big hands. It was real easy, and the phone didn't seem heavy either. Maybe it would be different after extended periods of time, but after holding the phone for about 20 minutes and using it one-handed for a bit, I had no issues.
