Can't sync second Google Calendar

I tried a search but came up empty on this one. Right now I have 2 Google accounts, the first one will sync contacts, mail and calendar no problem. However I added my second Google account and there are only options for syncing mail and contacts, there is no checkbox to sync the calendar like my other account. Do I need to delete the first account? I'd prefer to have everything sync from account #2 if that is my only choice. Also, if I do delete the first account my phone says I need to reset the OS to factory standards because the calendar is linked to some of my apps, any way around that? Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Running 2.1 OTA if that matters.

You could have your calendar on account #2 be available to account #1 then all your calendars would sync from account #1

I did that with my wife's calendar, and now I have to deal with all of her stupid daily tasks cluttering my phone calendar. So yeah... that method works.
