my friend got the verizon 2150 for his incredible and he asked when i was getting one and i thought about all the options for batteries and so i thought i would ask you guys which battery you have and out of ten how would you rate it?

you can rate based on size, value, color, and shipping time if you want, i don't care

I have three 1500mah and one 2600mah batteries from DealExtreme. The 1500mah are about the same as the stock battery in both size and life, but the 2600mah last about 50-80% longer(no scientific testing on this one…yet). The 2600mah is actually for the Touch Diamond2, but it fits in in Dinc fairly well. It is not as wide, but it stays put. The 2600mah is about double the thickness of the stock battery and I do not have a back plate for it.

I've used the 1500 TouchPro2 battery and it's the best buy for the stock back. $15 will give you an extra 1-2hrs at the end of the day.
I've also got a Seidio 1750 and it last about 1-2hrs longer then my TP2 but for $40 not worth it.

I did have a 2150 with extended back from Verizon and it is a haus , lots of battery life, gave the phone a more solid feel . Highly reccomend it , believe it cost me $44 with a 25% discount. I was going to return it but instead gave it to my Mom who also has an Incredible. My Seidio gives me roughly 18-20hrs Up time and 6hrs awake I'm good with that and I ordered 2 2600 batteries from Hong Kong for $22 the other day

HTC 2150, from verizon. arrived in 2 days. i don't mind the extra thickness, it does have a better handfeel in some ways. wonderful that i can run at 100% brightness, all updates on, and engage in occasional heavy use, and still have juice left when i go to bed. 9/10.

I ordered the 2600 batteries from ebay and reports here have said they have the same if not slightly better life then the VZW 2150 and you get 2 batteries, a charger and back for $22.

Plus my 1750 makes it fine thru the day, and my mom needed it more so I hooked her up . It was between giving her the 2150 or the 1750 as her stock battery wasn't making it thru the day.

I've had the 2150 battery from verizon for a couple weeks now. After just a few days I totally forgot about the added size, I don't even notice it. I do notice that I can do whatever I want with the phone and not have to worry about having to recharge at work or in my car. I've tried to kill the battery by leaving everything on and browsing the web every chance I had at work, listening to radio streams all day, using navigation on the way to work and home, and watching a 2 hour movie when I got home, and still had battery left.

I ordered the Verizon 2150 for mine, It was sent out lastnite I believe and should arrive before friday...I didnt have to pay for it so Im not going to complain :) But I must say I m not sure how I feel about not being able to use the snap on case I have from verizon for my inc, I dont like the thought of a naked inc specially for the cost of the phone itself.... Any thoughts on the battery life w/the extended on the INC?

Thanks for all of the informative posts. I'm definitely leaning toward the 2150. Sorry to go slightly off topic, but is this 25% discount people are mentioning some sort of workplace discount?

Actually yes the 25% is certain employment discounts, You might want to check into it I didnt think we got one but it saves so much on your bill monthly and on access...:)

Check out some of the custom cases that people have made, I took a Silicon case and simply cut out the spot for the hunch and it work fantastic. But some of the Hard cases that were dremmeled look fantastic. There is even a member of this board making the custom cases for people and from what I've seen he does fantastic work

do you have a link for the custom cases? i would be interested in that. i had the 2150 in the phone from the get go (my refurb was a replacement for the moto droid and didn't come with a back side, so the verizon rep sent me an extended battery and back side free), and it was really great. i decided to try a 1500 i got off ebay (not bidallies, that one is still in the mail), and it sucks. i just wanted to use the silicone case i had already bought from verizon, and maybe protect the phone a little, but man, the battery is just not enough for my use. i barely make it to the end of the work day, whereas with the 2150, it's true, you can like dare it to drain, and it will not. i'm ready to go back. but i'd still like at least a little protection for the sides of the phone in case i drop it or something.
