Anyone else thinking of leaving Aria for Droid X?

Seriously considering it, I know someone that will hold on for me at their kiosk. I dont know how reliable that would be especially given that kiosks probably dont get the same inventory a store does, and he starts his shift a little later than 9 that morning of the 15th lol. Thought I'd share :D

Which will be available starting July 18th. Since that should be within the 30 day window for most of us Aria users, so would you return your Aria for a Captivate?

I absolutely plan on doing so. Unfortunately, they say it takes a few days for your upgrade eligibility to come back, so I'll have to return my Aria a few days earlier so that my eligibility is back on the 18th. It'll be torture using my Fuze again for those few days. lol

I think I'd personally rather pay for the Captivate outright rather than go back to a Fuze for a few days. I played with one for a bit and hated it...

People are saying that the $350 price tag of the Captivate was an error, and that the $350 was probably supposed to be the amount in savings (so $550). I'll gladly use the Fuze for a few days to save $350.

edit: nevermind. Looks like people confirmed the $350 price with an AT&T rep. I'll definitely buy it outright then. A two-year contract is definitely not worth saving a measly $150.

I was just being sarcastic and poking fun at how terrible the Fuze is(in my opinion) :D

I'm tied to ATT, if not I will definitely get the X,, but sad for me,, I will not be able to... the only other option in ATT is the Captivate... I will go to the store in the 18 to take a look at it... from the videos,,, it looks to much like an iPhone.... something I hate... and the UI looks just like an IOS copycat.... and is Samsung....

Exactly which videos were you watching? Only the app drawer looks like an iPhone. The home screen looks like any other Android device. And if the app drawer really bothers you that much, you can change the view to a vertical list.

So tonight I go to my local bb store and checkout the pre-order situation. While waiting I started playing with an evo..WOW..that thing was huge. It just seemed so big compared to every other phone on display , forget about the poor aria lol. I think I'm going to reconsider such a behemoth of a phone, I'm sure the display on the x will make everything look nice and big but how short of a tablet is this. I got a week to think it out. I'm really not too excited about that Captivate either. Iphone maybe? anyone lol.

I was looking forward to the Captivate, but then I realized how big it was. It is to big for my pants pockets. Although much more powerful phone. It is just not going to work.
I was looking forward to having another Samsung as I have had my Blackjack for 4 years? and had had zero problems. The reason I got the Blackjack back then was because it was the smallest phone with a full qwerty keyboard at the time.
