Adding myself to my contacts list ? (sending photos to personal email)

What I am trying to do is take a picture and send it to my personal or work address.

This is the procedure I am using but it seems like it might be quicker if I was in my own list of contacts.

Mail > mene > compose > entering my email in the "to" field > menu > add attachment > picture > pictures > (select photo) > send

I have also used this method:

All apps > gallery > (select photo) > share > mail > (select photo again) > enter personal email in "to" field.

Seems like there must be a better faster way.

I just wish they would fix the gallery/camera integration with Picasa so you can upload photos there - seems to be broken big time.

That would be MUCH easier than having to email them to yourself! Which is what I do also...

Not to change the direction of this thread, but uploading to picasa is actually easy for me.

select picture > share > choose picasa > select picture again > upload

Anyone have an answer to the OP? I'm struggling with the same thing.. I always email my work email with reminders of things to do... I don't even know how the Evo knows that my work email is me but it's the only thing I can't set a shortcut for.

There's no reason you cant create a contact for your own email.

You should already be in your contacts. When I click on "People" the first contact is my own contact card. Just edit it and add your email address.
