Android menu colors

Hola ladies and gents!

So on Android, when we tap on something in the menus it shows up as orange or, on Sense devices, green. Now, I've got nothing major against green. But I would definitely love to have blue or red there instead. Though, I've tried searching the market and internet for a solution to no avail.

Does anyone have a solution to my oh-so-simple-but-serious-yet-still-small problem?

I'm just spit balling here, but I bet if you could root there would be a possible way. Even if it meant having to build a new ROM yourself.

Download ADW launcher. It has that option in it's settings.

Its not systemwide though. Only in the launcher. I think a system wide change is what the OP is looking for.

it's quite very easy to do, if rooted. using metamorph.

Yeah I figured there was an option for root users. I'm rooting (using a 2.1 w/SU permissions and live wallpapers) but for the google of me I couldn't find it!

I'll definitely check out this metamorph thing. Any forum links you can give me for this topic?
