alright ive been searching for a couple days now for a tutorial on how to flash to cricket but i just cant find anything.nobody locally knows how to do it, google searching all day gets me nowhere and im seriously starting to give up hope and might just pack my bags and go back to the iphone while i havent sold it yet. can someone PLEASE give me a link to how to flash an evo to cricket, or explain to me how to do it.

are the videos on how to root it of any importance here? im assuming you need to root it then change the carrier settings after that, but i just cant find out what to do after rooting.

i can flash to cricket... the only thing that doesnt work is market. but if you install the apk through the sd card like say facebook it will work. honestly right now no one is gonna tell you how to do it for free, to much money to be made doing the flash right now.

Flashing without market working isn't really a full flash.

Everything is actually working now including market except MMS. There is an autostart.sh script with u2nl solution same as on the Eris...just need to locate the modified autostart.sh script for the Evo).

Yeah...Cricket is a discount carrier with limited coverage areas. But if you don't travel much you get $40/mo unlimited everything (talk/text/web/mms/gps).

I did manage to get my Evo on Cricket (talk/text/web working fine) but no MMS and a few market apps won't stream audio (like NPR).

I would gladly pay $50 to get MMS working and get rid of the Sprint Data Call Failure 98 messages. But I can't justify $150-200 since I won't be using the paid solution to flash any other phones.
