Im a Inc fanboy all the way. I think the Droid X is gimmicky, cheap looking, and junk. I love HTC sense!!!! I am currently on pre order for the Inc, waiting patiently. Now if my Inc ships the first of August. And the Fascinate is released mid-August with nice reviews. I may have to consider Selling my Inc when I get it and getting the Fascinate. This thing looks really sweet. Anyone else already pondering these thoughts?

Yes in the past not the most reliable. Thats why I said if the reviews are good. I wouldnt just say this phone or Samsung are garbage just yet. Lets see if this is a new era for Samsung in the Smart Phone arena!

Sadly we won't know the REAL reviews until it's been out at least a month or 2, but 3-4 months would be better.

While I love CNET and check them out for all major purchases, the biggest thing I look at are user reviews. Thats what REALLY matters. What the phone does in the real world with actual users.

Nope, I think Samsung phones are garbage
Maybe I'm biased but my Omina, though winmo was a handicap, was pretty nice.
Added spb mobile shell and a few other apps and it performed well.
Good reception, well better than my Dinc, and several updates, to include unlocking gps and even a firmware update this year '10.
And this phone was released in '08.
*my experience with multiple sammyphones is somewhat limited

And a REALLY big question is "does Samsung intend to support this phone?" In the past, the answer to that questions has been uniformally: "Support, why would we do that? We already HAVE their money."

EDIT: Isn't the Bing Experience basically hitting yourself with the claw end of a hammer repeatedly?
Hopefully you'd be able to turn it off/change everything to Mother Google.

I wasnt trying to start a Facsinate exclusive thread or bash. Just what would you do if you have seen it, like it, great reviews. Would you consider it.

LOL. I think what people are trying to tell you is "NO", they will not consider it.

I broadened it to say that "no, I am not considering ANY new phone for the next two years". The only way I would switch is if the DINC starting blowing up and they recall it. Then I won't have a choice. ;)

I'd consider exchanging for it, if there was a phone I thought I'd like better. Granted, it'd take a lot to trade away from a phone I'm happy with. No matter how many reviews you read, or demos you play with, you won't know if you'd be happy with a phone until you've had it for a little while. You wouldn't want to do the exchange just to find you don't like the new phone.

Has bing been on any other phones. I apologize Ive never heard of it if it has.

Well i had it back on my Omnia when WinMO, but don't think its been on many if any other phones tbh...

But you can go to Bing on any phone and see the experience your self, its just kinda clumpy and ulgy, like it always has been on the Desktop version. IMO the Google experiences just fits the phones they make better, as it should.

I don't like the UI rework (sorry, but I like having a phone that doesn't look like an iOS phone)

I agree the way the UI works on the Fascinate reminds me of iOS and also the menu setup on WinMO on my old Omnia... FUGLY IMO

Also the Fascinate comes with features like this:

Lifestyle features:
- V CAST Music with Rhapsody
