best buy has no deductible/you get a NEW phone/doesnt cover lost or stolen

sprint has deductible/you get a USED phone/ but it does over lost or stolen

my question now is how do i go about getting BEST BUYS insurance? my 30 day limit since i bought my evo has not yet been reached

...sprint has deductible/you get a USED phone/ but it does over lost or stolen...

According to Sprint's website:

Replacement Equipment

• The malfunctioning equipment will be repaired or replaced with the same or comparable model

• Repair or replacement is made at our option

• Replacement device may be new or remanufactured

You don't want us to talk about stuff, don't post threads. Seriously, this is a forum, what we do.

Just because you posted the thread gives you no right to say what we should post in response.

But don't worry, will never bother answering a question for you again.

this forum has been one of the worst forums ive ever joined because of smart ass people like you. whenever im on here SOMEONE has SOMETHING to say

go open your own thread and talk about losing your phone pal all i wanted to know was the difference and it has been answered no reason to hassle anymore and tell me to keeps sprints insurance in case i lose it. if i do lose it its my fault and not yours

Are you really this pathetic you won't drop it???

First, LOOK at how many thank yous I have. How dare you imply MY posts have no value. Obviously, many others here disagree with you.

And where in the he** did I hassle you??? OMG, are you THAT sensitive????

I made a point that was valuable to someone, even if not you. I know this might be hard for your immature mind to understand, but posts here are not always just for you, even if you start a thread. Do you really not understand what forums are all about? Perhaps you should not participate in them until you do.

Good bye!!

Get over yourself.

I won't imply anything, I will tell you straight up that your posts are probably some of the most negative/non constructive ones I have seen on the forum. I am negative also, but I don't live under the delusion that I am some great asset to the forums.

I agree with you 100%. I've been lurking around here for a little while and these forums are filled with A LOT of (not all) sarcastic, defensive, and smart-assy people. People here need to chill. That is all.

sprints is better IMO...you get a new or refurbished phone that looks brand new. it comes OVERNIGHT. trust me i know i have used it about 5 times lol. and you only pay the deductible if its your fault or you lose it. If the phone is messing up and they cant repair it they have another ordered for you next business day.

with bestbuy you have to wait anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks and they give you a crappy flip loaner phone most of the time.

i've never paid a deductible while getting a new phone at an official or 3rd party sprint store. a few years ago i bought a sanyo flip phone which broke and they gave me a few different moto phones, each of which broke within six months, until i bought an HTC Hero last year. I got five free phones in two years thanks to Sprint's outstanding insurance policy and Motorola's terrible build quality.

Although this has been discussed in earlier threads, I want to emphasize that Sprint has NO deductible on repairs. The deductible is ONLY for lost or stolen phones.

Thus, I see no particular plus from Best Buy. As has been noted in previous threads, Best Buy will often take your phone for many weeks in order to REPAIR your phone. You are not guaranteed a new phone until they can't repair the phone that is broken. Plus, for your $3, you get no theft or loss insurance. Best Buy is not the way to go.
