Adding Photos to Phone book contacts?

Hi ..
I can't find out how to add photos to the contacts I have on my phone.
I read in another post that I should go to Google mail and do it from there, but my contacts aren't synced with anything. I just want to access them on my phone, and see a photo when they call. I added everyone's details myself, but I can't believe there's no Add photo option (or non that I can find anyway!)

Go into the people app,
click on the contact then click on the blank pic on the top left,
you will then see an arrow appear on the right of the blank pic,
click that and will see the option to add a photo from the camera album etc.

This doesn't happen on my phone. I have to open the contact then click the "Edit contact" option. After that I can click on the camera icon to set the picture.

Took me a while to get this one figured out.

Basically, I used friendstream log into my facebook. Then went to people, pressed menu once that had loaded and chose view. I enabled my facebook contacts to be viewed, then manually linked most profiles (spare a few that actually found themselves)

Not quite what you're after, I guess, but should work well. Don't forget to remove FB from view if you don't want your entire FB list in your contacts.
