SNesoid: Best and Easiest to play

I have a HTC Evo and it all touch screen. I just downloaded Snesoid and a couple Roms with the help of some wonderful members here. I tried playing Super Mario World and it was so HARD using the on screen D-Pad and buttons.

My question is what games are out there that are good and are easy to control using the touch screen controls? I was thinking Secret of Mana maybe.

Thanks.

Just go with NESoid instead. It lends itself to touchscreen gameplay better than more complex 16 bit emulated games. Or you can do what others have suggested and avoid "twitchy" games that require precise directional control... Although I love my EVO, the ONLY reason I would consider the Epic is because you can map the buttons to the keyboard. Food for thought if you are serious about emulators...

I am currently playing Legend of Zelda, and I am having no problem playing it with the touch screen.

Other than that I havent really played much else although I did try Super Metroid and that wasnt to bad. Im gonna switch to that after finishing LoZ.
Unfortunately, my device does not support multi-touch. :eek:This is pretty essential for playing about 90% of the titles that I would want to play. I tried it when I first got the phone, and uninstalled it in a moment of frustration when I realized I couldn't move and jump at the same time in Super Mario Bros.
This is why I'm very curious about the wiimote app. :D

The wii remote app (Even the free one) works fine with all of the emulators. The only thing the Wii Remote app doesn't work on are phones with HTC Sense UI.

The "oids" all have key mapping. Menu, settings, input settings > key mapping.

Yoshi's Island works well on the EVO. It's a little more deliberate than Super Mario World and less "twitchy," so the touchscreen controls are more manageable. Also, the graphics still hold up 15 years later...

I tried playing Super Metroid and I couldn't even escape from the first level and gave up. Touchscreen controls and SNES action games do not mix...
