Wow. Wow wow wow. I went to my Verizon store and got to hold the dummy phone they had in my hands....so amazing. It was bigger than I thought, which I loved, because the way I was imagining it did leave me kinda disappointed in my mind...but thankfully that got put to rest! It felt wonderful. Very solid build quality, super light! What shocked me was...I actually thought the back of the phone was completely flat, until I remembered that there was a hump there. The hump is so slight and small, I felt like I was actually searching for it.

Summary: This phone is so much more amazing in person than any video or picture could express...and this wasn't even a working model, but just a dummy! WOW! I can't wait for Thursday!!!!!

And yes...I know the title of my post could have alternate meanings...

I am TOTALLY with you!!! Size was the biggest factor whether I would get it or not...but I held a dummy unit today as well and those are my exact same observations!!! It IS big..but it's an awesome big. I am a girl, but still loved the size. Even with my Droid and the Incredible, I typed with 2 hands...so I am not worried anymore....Thursday here I come! :p

Well I guess size does matter...

The size was a turnoff for me at first but the lack of being able to get an incredible has made me look more at the x and now I love the bigger size and feel in my hand of this phone. the size really seems to spread the weight out making it feel lighter then the dinc to me, even though it's almost an ounce heavier. I can't wait to get my device either Thursday or Friday. Hopefully that is.

I played around with a working unit yesterday at the Verizon store and I was very pleasantly surprised. The build quality seems excellent and it was the perfect size in my hand. The screen actually surprised me as well.... I've been using the iPhone 4 for a while and really didn't think the X would be as nice. I was wrong! The screen is very bright and text was actually very crisp, though I forget to check out the browser for the reported jaggies on web pages.

Did anyone else feel like the phone was flat until you remembered there is supposed to be a hump there? I mean it was barely noticeable!

I can't wait to be sitting down, speeding through a text message, typing with two hands...I type with two hands on my Eris, and it just can't keep up...lag city.
