Changing Android phones - advice requested

Verizon's delay in delivering me a Droid Incredible pushed my 30-day exchange window into the Droid X launch date and I am going to take advantage of it. As the Incredible was my first Android phone, I've never moved from one Android phone to another the way I did with Palm back in the day. I appreciate any advice anyone would like to share on this process, but I have these specific questions:

- Is there a way to export a list of apps that I have on my Incredible?
- Will AppBrain recognize that my Droid X doesn't have any of my apps on it and offer to download them automatically?
- Should I expect to run into license issues for software that I purchased?
- Should I expect any funkiness in moving from Sense to "DontCallItMotoblur?"
- What's the best way to wipe my Incredible before turning it in to Verizon?
- Is there a backup app that will work for moving my apps without trying to move any Sense stuff? (I don't need a free solution, I'll pony up a few bucks for ease and reliability)

Thanks so much for your help!

As far as wiping the phone a factory reset is always best ive come to understand, two apps I use regularly are the quick uninstaller and history eraser, the latter allows you to wipe market searches, youtube searches, contacts info, basically anything you can think of. A thought on the x vs the incredible, the x is locked down at this time, that may not matter to you but I would like to oc my phone so the incredible that's posible while for now its not on the x

Exporting apps - sync to appbrain, but I would also copy them over to another list so your 'current' list doesn't get overwritten when you first log in to appbrain from the new phone.

Re-installing on new device - after you get your new phone and download appbrain, log in and let it sync (when I did this it just emptied my 'current' list on appbrain). Go to the appbrain site and check out the list you created that was the copy of apps, select all and copy to the 'current' list. Then when you login from the app, you will be able to sync/update and it will go through the update process. Installing over the web should also work for this?
