I went to use Sprint Navigation today, and received this message "New version of Sprint navigation available. Upgrade now?"

Has anyone done this upgrade? If so, please let us all know what differences you see, and do you recommend the upgrade? I'm currently using Sprint Navigation Premium v2.8.

The old version DID work landscape

I've found Google NAV works much better

What like most I like most about Google NAV...
You can place GPS coordinates into the address box of a Google contact and it will take you to that spot.

Case in point I have Road America as a contact, One address is the shipping address of
N7390 State Highway 67 Plymouth, WI 53073. If your a package you will get the but if your driving to that address you wont. In the "other" box I place 43.805322,-87.99136 and it takes you right to gate 6. Pretty cool

I have had Google Nav reroute me 4 times while sitting at a red light, so no thanks!

I have only used Sprint Navigator a few times, and it has performed well.

+1
I'm 0 for 3 on it getting me to the right place so far. Sprint nav easily has it beat there. Google is smoother, but that doesn't do much good in helping you get to where you intended to go.

There's 2 hero links, the second failed to install but the first went fine. As previously mentioned, its still 2.8 but maybe there's some tweaks in there.

I like Google Nav better. It was annoying when Sprint Nav says "You are off track".

Me: NavPoint 3000, I think it would be better if I took this street

NavPoint 3000: You are off track

Me: Quit that

NavPoint 3000: You are off track. Take a U turn and....

At this point I turn down the volume.

With Google Nav it just re-routes it no questions asked.

At first I thought I liked that it did that, then I realized if you just accidentally missed a turn and didn't notice, it will reroute some ridiculous long route. Obnoxious as the sprint one is... "make a legal u-turn when possible", at least it maintains the shortest route until another route becomes shorter. A "reroute? yes/no" prompt would be handy.
