these videos are pissing me off

all i want to see is if you press home, what screen it takes you to
on the international there was a big hooplah over the fact that
the touchwiz made the leftmost screen home. however in all the videos
the center screen appeared to be home, however every single person who
unboxed it flicked the screens even if they were all the way to one side.

how am i suppose to see which screen is home if they never press it!!!

then send the person a PM or something or leave a comment on the video and ask them to show you what you want to see. how would they know what your thinking? i'll see if i can find you a video with someone doing that btw.

When I played with the phones at the release event a couple weeks ago, pressing the home button brought you back to the center screen each time.

be nice if the back was a little more solid, if not maybe a third party solution to give the phone a little more solid feel, I'll give up weight for that.

In the phonedog unboxing unfortunately it definitely seems there is NO microphone icon for text messaging input...wtf? I thought that was a part of the OS?

The android and me reviewer says its plastic in the comments to his unboxing.

Some people mentioned its metal. I'm inclined to think its metal because some reviews flick the back and it sounds like metal.

The build of the phone feels rather solid so far, and the metal back plate with chrome accents adds a bit of a premium feel. I also like how the micro-USB plug has a slide cover for protection, and that it's conveniently placed at the top of the phone for easy desk charging.

The Epic 4g has the microphone button on swype at the bottom right. Maybe someone can extract that version of swype from the phone so you can install it on yours?? Kind of like how I used to use the htc keyboard. Actually the Droid X also has that version of swype with the mic. Maybe you can use that??
