Hi Guys,

Can I just ask how I can transfer my photos that are on my Sim Card
somewhere and have them transferred onto my Hero?
I know that they are on the Sim because when my Black N95(8Gig)
Screwed up recently. My Partner let me borrow her original N95 and after
putting my Sim Card into her phone not only my contacts transferred onto
it where they now sit but also all of my photos.
My contacts have come over but the photos don't seem have transferred onto my Hero so is it possible to do this and if so how?

Thank you in advance.

Peace,
Andrew.

Anyone Please?

Peace,
Andrew.

If I can remember rightly, what I would try to do is put your SIM back into the N95. Connect the N95 to your laptop or PC via the cable & then you should be able through My Computer to access the N95 - going into phone memory or card memory.

Just drag & drop the photos onto the computer & then drag and drop onto the Hero later.

Hope this helps - I used to have an N95 and think this is the easiest way.....

They won't be on the SIM; they're stored either on the microSDHC memory card or the internal memory. IIRC the user can decide which is used on the N95, so if they're not in /images on the memory card they'll be in the similar folder on the handset. If the latter then use the FileManager app (in Tools) on the N95 to move them to the memory card so that you can access them when inserted in the Hero.

Note: the above is all from memory as my own N95 is currently loaned out.

Well Slug, the thing is as I said in my 1st post in this Thread, my own N95 Black 8 Gig has gone wrong and is the phone I took all my photos on, so my Partner lent me her N95 as she now has the Nokia E71 which she is very happy with and when I put my Sim card in her N95 not only did my Contacts transfer over but so did All of my Photos.
So how do you think that happened then Mate?

Peace,
Andrew.

I haven't a clue, mate. As I said, I simply can't see how it happened.
