Bought a HTC 1500 battery from amazon and it works well, but cannot seem to get battery case in a perfect position. It will click close but not be quite flush, which isn't the end of the world to me, but also creaks in various odd ways when you hold the phone near bottom. Any others experience this and any fixes? I read in another thread that the case eventually "stretched" to fit well but mine is still annoying after 2 weeks.

This is an OEM HTC battery, bought from this link:

Amazon.com: HTC Standard 1500mAh Lithium Battery for HTC Snap S521, S522, T-Mobile Dash 3G and HTC Hero GSM version: Cell Phones & Service

I've commented about this before - I have the same issue - case never fixed itself - its still just a shy open and still creaks and doesnt close all the way.

I think we're in a situation where we're on the small or tight end of the threshold for manufacturing tolerance, where others might be on the loose end of the threshold - so they wont experience this.

None of this seems to be that big an issue right to me - case doesnt POP-OFF or anything - so I think it should be ok for now.

I am still using the 1500 and its really been ok when I dont need the extra run time and bulk of the 2150.

yeah I tried pinning it in place overnight to see if it would stick in place better and such, but just doesn't seem to want to. Not a big deal. May try some experimental ideas next...if I can carefully shave off a few mm of inside of case or something hah.

Doesn't matter much day to day, seems with the expansion and contraction of stuff from heat from use/charging, the bottom part of case will pop off one hook on occasion, but can pop right back.

Thanks for some input, mostly wanted to make sure it wasn't just me or if there is a 1500 that does not have this issue.

the only real way pinning would help would be if you heated the plastic back/clips area to mold themselves in the new place.
