I got my 2150 mah battery in the mail the other day and let me say WOW what a difference in battery life!

On a normal day, i make/receive a dozen phone calls, send/receive 50 emails, spend a couple hours each on meebo IM, pandora radio and general web surfing.

I fully charge before i go to sleep, so by midnight i have a topped off battery.

By 5pm the following day, normally i'm in the yellow on the battery meter.

Using the extended battery, i'm on day two of this usage pattern, without having charged last night, and the battery only just hit 50%!

~40 hours of uptime
8 hrs and 35 minutes of awake time

Voice calls, Display and Android system have eaten the lions share of the battery.

I'm very impressed.

Once i break the battery in, i might be able to get 3 days out of it.

Yeah, I just got mine and it's awesome. I used my phone heavily all day yesterday, will everything syncing as often as possible and playing music via bluetooth all day. On the old battery I would be well into the yellow doing that by 6 pm or so (starting the day at 9), but this battery was still around 65%. Well worth it.

Oh, i forgot to mention, the battery doesn't really add too much to the size of the device.

If anything, it feels a bit more solid in the hand due to the extra weight and I like that the phone no longer rests on its camera lens when placed on its back.

It now sits flat on the "Shelf" made by the thicker battery door.

I liked the way the new cover protects the camera lens now too, it doesn't hang off the back of the phone anymore.

You have to modify any case by cutting out the back plate. DrPheta has mastered this and will do it for you for a small fee

Agree. However, I have the Seidio Innocase II case and realized that the section to be cut out contains the latch that holds the 2 halves of the case together. I think the dremel solution only works with cases that have "front" and "back" pieces that snap together along the edge of the phone.
