I held a demo model myself last night and for the people who are saying the phone is huge WOW are you guys little people? I don't have huge hands or at least I don't consider myself to be big handed but the phone fit perfectly in my hands.

not sure if the demo phone is the same weight as the retail one or not but it was the perfect weight as well not to heavy and not to light the size is perfect I still can't believe how well it fit in my hands and the hump is barely noticeable!

I hope my gf will let me sleep with my x.

No really I sleep holding my phone with it on vibrate so I wake up without waking my roommate/gf.

Actually now that I think about it that's a pretty weird thing to do.

I used to sleep with mine up by my face/beside my head so it would actually wake me up....So I don't think it's that weird....on the other hand, waking up because your eyeballs are vibrating is a less than pleasant experience.

I've been wishy washy on ditching the storm getting the x or wait for this super duper awesome phone coming out for the holiday season. I gotta say I stop by Verizon during lunch and within a minute that sealed the deal. I am getting the X. I will not put myself into another 6 months of pure misery and smartphone hell. Now that I played with it I can't even look at the Storm much less try to do something and get that stupid clock symbol. The pictures do not do it any justice. It is a big phone but its not that big. Very manageable. I could type on the stock keyboard just as fast as I type on my laptop. It was quick and snappy. The browser...yeah I'm speechless about that. I got the Storm to mainly browse the internet, one of the only things I regret so far is that stupid phone. The X had the full webpage up before the Blackberry had the mobile version up. I tested it with engadget.com, yahoo.com and foxnews.com, the X beat it everytime. The phone is radiating pure awesomeness. Anyways good luck to everybody tomorrow and hopefully see ya'll around.

Just go for it...in 6 months something better will be out but you wait, 6 months from then something else, even better, will be out.
