Accessories Video Review of Seidio's Innocase II and Active

I think you have a defective Innocase II. I've had 2 for my Inc (first one was from the bad run with the fit issue) and neither of them came apart like that. You have to actually press in on the center to release the locking tab to get mine to come apart and even then it's kind of a pain.

I'm sure they'll give you a hassle-free advance replacement if you contact them.

I'm pretty much convinced at this point that Seidio is crap.

Everyone can have their own opinion.

I just called and they are sending me a replacement.

Also I have had their cases for about 6 phones since they first came out and always have had exceptional service and IMHO they are the best all around cases.

Nice review. I'm on my second Innocase II and I'm about ready to send it back to Amazon. The first one got really loose after a couple weeks and lost some of the coating. The replacement requires a business card in the back of the case to keep it from wobbling and creaking. Not really happy with this case and not sure I want to buy another Seidio product.

I was actually shopping for cases today since I just got paid. I was looking at the Seidio Innocase II, and decided I'd do some research on it first, and of course found your thread.

My only concern is the snapping of the two pieces together as you showed in the video... I was curious if anyone else has had this problem as well out of the case. Also, I've had two piece cases similar to this one and I've had problems with dust/grit getting in the case and the small movement causes pits and scratches in the phone. Has anyone had this issue out of this case as well?

I'd appreciate some input. :)

I have had several of their Inno II's for my BB Tour and BB Storm and never had the problem I am having now. They are sending me a new case.

I would not worry about it and just get it. They are good about defective items. And allot of people with this case are NOT having the problem I am having.

Yea, I've been reading more reviews, and from what I've read it's about the best case out there for the DInc right now. So, I do believe I'm ordering it.

Thanks for your review/video! :)

How is the front of the case? Does give the screen a little protection if you were sit the phone down on it's face?

I believe so. I have the ACTIVE on now and it is raised so the screen does not touch when face down. I am pretty sure the Inno II is the same. Honestly I do not think there is a case out there that when on exposes the screen. For it to hold on a phone, it has to wrap to some extent, therefore protecting when laying face down.

My inno II is on a ups truck as I write this. I also had it for my bb storm and as I said in another forum, it was probably the best part of my phone. It gave good protection, fit snuggly, and didn't damage my storm at all. I'm certain it will be just as good on my dinc. By the way, paid 22.50 on amazon with free shipping.
I currently have the verizon snap on hard case and I don't love it. It feels cheap and I'm afraid it will break any time I have to remove it. The inno II comes right apart with ease and it's got the felt interior to protect. Hope this helps.

Active case looks nice, but I'm still holding out to see what Otterbox's Commuter case will look like. Will stick with my high gloss rubber for now. Thanks for the video reviews!

I like the past otterbox's but they are a little too bulky for me. However if I worked/played in an environment that deemed it necessary to have that kind of protection, I'd have an otterbox.

I first got the Innocase II for my DInc, loved it - though it was great. Only thing I didn't like was the raise on the back so it fits over the camera, and the fact that every time I took it off I found dust/crap inbetween the phone and case. After seeing the new Active cases available, I thought I'd give one of those a shot.

All I can say is WOW. The Active cases are AWESOME. It looks like I have a new phone, and with the white case I've had 4 people ask me since I put it on "what kind of phone is that"? I've never seen a case that fits a phone SO WELL that was made by a 3rd-party. I'd HIGHLY recommend the Active case to anyone who wants a stylish/functional case.
