Help something is wrong with call log

okay.. i don't know if its only my phone or every droid is like that but here is my concerm.

Lets say i made a call at 26 hours ago which was 1am saturday. and i made another call at 23hours ago which is 4am saturday. Since today is monday both call should show up in call log as 2days ago but 1am call comes out as 2days ago and 4am call comes up as yesterday....

can anyone check if your droid is doing this too???

1 day=24 hours.
if 1AM=26 hours, 26h=1 day 2 hours.
4 am =23 hours which is less than 1 day but still after midnight now, so it means it was yesterday.
No offense.... but did you pass 2nd grade?

Yeah, I just noticed this too. It seems like they are counting "yesterday" as anything between 24 and 48 hours ago. I don't care what some people learned in 2nd grade, but that is obviously wrong.

Haha...that isn't wrong...Today is Monday the 16th. If you received a call from Sunday the 15th at 12:01 AM to Sunday at 11:59 PM, that would be yesterday. Tonight at 11:59 PM that call on Sunday at 12:01 AM seems far away, but it is still just "yesterday".

I made a call at 5 pm on Saturday. Today is Monday. The phone lists the call as being made "yesterday". Can we all agree that this is wrong? Yes? Ok, moving on.

The phone lists any call between 0 and 24 hours with the amount of time that as passed since the call. Example: "15 minutes ago", "20 hours ago".

Then from 24 to 48 hours, it lists the call as "yesterday". Yes, in some cases this is right, but not always. If you really need me to list an example of each case, then let me know.

Nothing like good ole internet insults. You ask for help, then call the people that respond stupid. If you track your missed calls that closely, what do you need your call log for anyway?

Having a similar issue with my hero.

I would like the call log to show a time and date of the call instead of how man hours or days ago. All my previous phones did this.

I know I can install aontacts etc to do this but I would rather use the default app.

Can this be done? Is there a setting I am missing?

How has this not been fixed? I just noticed this on my Droid. It's ludicrous that a call from 7:24pm Friday is being listed as Yesterday at 3:15pm on Sunday. No human being would see it that way. I only caught it because I called the friend and said, "My phone shows you called yesterday" and when he said he didn't I checked the details. Stupid phone. I love my Droid but I also expect it to excel at the most basic things and this is as basic as it gets.
