I'm still tweaking many of my widgets, I love customization, and many of these take time to perfect for appearance and placement.

1 Beautiful Home: Just what it says. Many skins for weather and clock portions all of them are attractive and perform well.

2 Pure Calendar: Many Sizes and uses available. Pure Grid Calendar is a nice "sense" style widget I'm not presently using. this 1 integrates tasks from 3rd party task programs, and supports MANY calendar programs by HTC, Google, Calendar Pad etc.... it also is SCROLLABLE if you are using Launcher Pro, or ADW and allow transperency control

3 Messaging Widget: Just discovered this SMS widget. It integrates with your default SMS program seamlessly. Has some AWESOME options for functions, including AUTO (showing all texts, and contact pics, plus message body, and entire conversations.) and DEDICATED, (allowing you to dedicate the widget to a particular contact ((in this case my wife :)) several sizes, plus selectable transparency of background and bubble selection

4 ESPN Scorecenter: This is an app that lies with it's un-assuming appearance. Hiding behind it is selectable sports and teams to display on the widget allowing you to "arrow" through current status of games. And a very inclusive sportsnews app that launches when you tap it. setup is done by launching the app from the drawer.

5 Pure Messenger:IMAP/POP multiple email accts, Facebook, Twitter, SMS, all under 1 roof!!! the DEV of this app is very good. he's also respobsible for Pure Calendar. It has MANY customization settings as well, and MANY sizes. Best feature, also scrollable if using Launcher Pro or ADW and allows transparency control

6 PostIt Desk: This one is simple. place a note on any homescreen any where any time.

7 Gold Clock Widget: Also very simple. Elegant clock display perfect size.

I failed to bubble a fav of mine ... Sign: Is the little blue hand icon in the last screenshot. it looks like a shortcut, but when tapped, a powerful gesture tool for searching contacts is unleashed.

And finally, not really a widget, but the last pic is of a alternate desktop app called quickdesk. can be used as a default home, or a slideout activated by the longpress of the hardware search button on the evo. the great thing is that it supports installation of widgets. my "Sign" widget doesn't adequately match my theme design to place it on the home screen, so i placed it a touch away in the quickdesk panel, along with other "office" types of apps and functions.
