Accessories Do any of the Verizon-stocked cases fit the car mount?

Hey all - so I just got back home with my Droid X and a bunch of accessories. One disappointing thing I found is that even as (relatively) skinny as the High-Gloss Silicone Case is, it does NOT fit the Car Dock, even without the Car Dock Insert in place. Has anyone had any better luck with the Crystal Case, or one of the others they're selling? Would like to know before I return there.

If not, I'll need to figure out whether it'll be more important for me to have the Car Dock or a case on it. I know the Invisible Shield style would work but that's not much protection against a drop.

Thanks in advance.

It doesn't surprise me. There are very FEW cases that will fit docks (either car or desktop based). The only company that I know for a fact makes compatible devices such as these are Sedieo, and I believe they are still working on these items.

You might be able to dock the device with a skin applied to it, but this to is unconfirmed.

Seidio is my first choice for that reason. Might have to pick up something else in the meanwhile tho.

No to the Clear Case... although I liked this one better than the High Gloss Silicone (not much, but a little). I decided it really wasn't worth holding onto the Car Cradle when it doesn't allow cases to fit... I'll continue using the Universal Car Mount I already have. I was getting wicked signal feedback when plugged in to both Micro USB and the audio out both when powered through the Holder and through the device itself. Oh well. That seems to be one of the only black spots on an otherwise solid device for me... at the moment anyway.

It's a ground loop problem. It happens all the time when a device is is grounded in two places (the usb port and the stereo cable) and there's a differential between the grounds. Unfortunately there isn't much that you can do about it.
