Got my phone on monday, got the seidio active case today (thursday.) I've only had it for an hour or two, and love its look and feel.
However, I am having some reception issues. I'm going to be testing it out over the next couple of days, but wanted to know if anybody else has noticed a drop in signal strength?
I tried to check the signal with the case on and off, but the results were mostly inconclusive... I tried it a few times, and the first few did seem to lower the signal, but the last few tests the signal was equally low with the case off as it was on.
I've kept it on all night, and it's still having problems. I'm going see how it does tomorrow. I've not had any reception problems until this point, but it's possible there's just something going on at home.
One other thing I've noticed, and I'm not sure if this means anything, but it is popping in and out of 3g connectivity.and switching to 1x.
Now, I've never had a problem with a case causing reception problems before (in fact, apparently it's the solution to poor antenna performance in some cases.) My intuition is that I'm probably off base with this, but figured I'd put it out there to see if anybody else had this problem.
