Always amazes me how many people leave their phones switched on all night. Can't see the point unless you're using an alarm clock app.

I have mine fully switched off and charging.
Well i use the alarm clock, but i was told for phones like the desire it does the battery more harm to keep turning them on and off, than it does too just leave it on all the time.

Sometimes I use the alarm (Nokia would work with phone off, does Desire?)

I keep it on so I can be called if needed.
Do you disconnect your land line phone when you go to sleep?

Usually I leave my phone on and charging overnight. I have a battery graph app installed and I've just checked the graph for last night...

Once it had finished charging it showed as 100% up until 3:52am, by 4:02am it had dropped to 90%, by 4:27am it was back up to 100% and remained there until 7:12am, at 7:22am it had dropped to 90% again and had charged up to 96% when I unplugged it at 7:37am.

Now that is probably more than anyone needs to know but why does it seem to suddenly drop 10% within the space of 10 minutes?
