I just bought my first Android phone, the Sprint Moment. I really like it. I've added a few apps from the Market. Things work fine. I just ripped some DVDs to put on the phone. They play very nice. I have had a Ipod Touch for awhile so loading videos has been easy and since the phone used the same formats, I just dragged and dropped on to the Android. I'm still on a learning curve for this phone, so I will be reading ideas from this forum and hopefully find out more. Things I'm thinking about now are any anti-virus programs for this OS? Any shock/water proof cases out there for when I'm fishing or hiking around? I keep thinking I'm going to drop it and be out one Moment phone.

I didn't think of waterproof bags. I do have them for my camera. Now I will use it for my phone. Just reviewed the Samsung Moment forum, scared me. I did not realize my phone had so many problems. I don't even know where the 911 key is so I may be calling them all the time. Ignorance is bliss, until something goes wrong I guess.

I spend a fair amount of time outside in inclement weather and have researched options here. Although a plain old Ziplock will probably work for most instances these are superb and very durable- LOKSAK | Resealable Element Proof Transport & Storage Bags. If you want a hard case try Pelican cases- Welcome to www.pelican.com Pelican Products - Manufacturer of high-impact, watertight equipment Protector Cases and safety approved, technically advanced flashlights.
