Help Is there a notification light?

Is there a notification light on the Droid X? If so, does anyone know how to get it to work? I have looked in all of the settings and I can not find where to turn the notification lights on........and yes, it does appear to have a nitification light, I just can't get it to work.

When I get emails it lights up, too. Can't remember if I had to select that or not..... email app ... settings... look in there.

Typically the settings in the app is where you find things like this.

Stock, it only works when the screen is off. Mine blinks green for email, blue for texts, and I think red for missed calls.
