Help Droid Check OWA

I currently have a Blackberry and with my Blackberry I'm able to check several Outlook Web Access(OWA) accounts. I teach for several online school and OWA is the only way that I have to check my email with them. The Blackberry allows me to do that.

I'm wanting to get a droid and my wife just got the Dinc and I really love it. The problem is, I can't figure out how to configure the Droid to check all of my OWA accounts. I'm able to get it to check one, using the Exchage setup; however, that's all that it will allow me to check.

Does anybody know how to set this up, or should I just stay with the Blackberry?

As a follow up to this, if you don't know Blackberry, I have a website that I go to, which allows me to setup my email accounts. I have the option to make it an OWA email account, put the OWA URL, username, password, etc.... and then about every 15 minutes or so, the website checks my OWA and if there is any new messages, it pushes them to my blackberry. I would like to get something like this for droid, but really don't see a way to make it work. I did see a couple of OWA apps in the marketplace, but they seem to be their own email clients and doesn't use the mail client with droid.

Unfortunately there isn't anything similar on the Android or any other platform that performs what BIS does for OWA.

That is very sad news! I mean, I love my Blackberry, but I really am wanting some of the features that the droids have. Now my wife gets to laugh at me because she has one and I can't get one!!! Dang!!!

Not true. I bought Touchdown and set it up for my server at work. ActiveSync is not enabled on my server at work, but Touchdown still works with my e-mail. I've configured it to check every minute so my e-mail is basically pushed to the phone.

I downloaded the trail version and it worked great. The only thing that I didn't see is support for more than one exchange accts. I have around 6. Does the full version support more than one?

I think that is a limitation of exchange and not the droid. Exchange servers usually only allow one account

I'm not sure of the underpinnings of it, but it just works. It's a stand alone client.

Most programs only support one or maybe two Exchange accounts. You could possibly POP your other Exchange accounts. You have to realize that with 6 Exchange accounts you actively monitor, you're the exception, not the rule.

No, it really doesn't. BIS is running off on a server somewhere. It POPs all your accounts most likely. Then it forwards the e-mail to your phone. Your phone is not checking all those e-mail accounts, BIS is.

I understand that and it's not using POP, because POP isn't turned on for those servers, it checks the OWA and then sends any new messages to my device. I'm just saying that I wished that Droid would do this as well. The touchdown worked perfectly! I was able to check my accounts; however, I could only have one active account at a time, which doesn't work for me. Guess I'll just stick with Blackberry. I just don't understand why other companies can't figure this out!!!!
