I noticed something that makes my sound better coming out of my earbuds. While using the stock music player. Go to menu>audio effects>wired stereo devices>enable audio effects

Then u can pick from effects like 3D stereo or even a custom equalizer.
This is just something i noticed helped a lot in how my music sounded, let me know if it helps at all.

Thanks

Very cool, I wish Pandora had this too.

Actually, the changes made in the Music app are system wide. It will affect the output of Pandora as well.

How exactly do you open, adjust, and apply the custom equalizer???

It's not an equalizer in a classic sense, just some preset options.

Just follow the instructions in the OP and you'll see what I mean.

I think it sounds better than the droid Incredible and that didn't sound bad even with no EQ options whatsoever. I'm no audio expert but I certainly don't think it sounds bad.

I came from an Incredible and feel that my X's sound is worse. I feel like there is more static and pops while using the audio out to my car stereo. My old Incredible seemed really clear in terms of sound quality.

Maybe I have a bad X or does anyone else think the sound was better overall on the Incredible?
