My first review going from the Dinc to the X.. I'll edit as i get more used to it...

OMG! Did I ever make the right decision! Thank you Verizon for allowing me to turn my dinc in after 59 days!

I put all my apps back. I'll let you know how the rest goes. So far I love it.

Aside from the marginally bigger screen (which does absolutely nothing for me, since I never use my phone to watch videos or movies), what, precisely, do you find advantageous over the Incredible, may I ask?

I tried the Incredible for two weeks. No insult to the Incredible lovers but I don't even find it to be in the same ballpark as the DroidX. Battery life on the Dinc was just horrible! I found the small screen made the keyboard difficult to type on. Call quality was marginal. Not many dropped calls but a lot of bad connections where the volume and clarity was bad. Max volume on a call for the Dinc was not good.

I love the larger screen on the X, makes all the difference in the world to me. I don't find the larger size to be a hindrance in the least. The X simply appears and feels to be a much better and more solid device than the Dinc.

I'll put it into perspective. I'd go purchase a iPhone4 and live with the crappy AT&T network before I'd tolerate the Dinc. At the same time, I'd keep my X and gladly pay the monthly fees before I'd take an iPhone4 for free with free service from AT&T.

59 days? I returned mine after 27 days, then had to suffer with my LG Voyager for 11 days, until my phone arrived.

I had no complaints with the phone quality, but was charging the battery a couple times a day when used heavily.

I wish I had made a list of all my apps. There's some I'd like to have now.

I LOVED Htc's Sense! Launcher Pro w/ Beautiful Widgets just isn't the same, but I can live with it.

Battery life and bigger screen make it worthwhile tho. If a 5" was available, I would have considered that.

What did you have to do to return your phone after 59 days? I'm still thinking of getting a DX, but I had my Dinc since launch and I don't think they will let me return it.

I could sell the Dinc and buy the DX outright.

I stuck with my Incredible. The X that I played with seemed very laggy and I like sense even though I don't use most of the widgets. The incredible just seems more polished and refined.

Loving the camera sooo much better on the X, than on the Incredible...
It doesn't FREEEZE

As for lag on the X, if you throw a launcher on it such as Launcher Pro...
It MELTS away. Extremely smooth now.
Loving the LARGE Multi-Touch Keyboard.
Battery life has also been much better on the X.
The X also runs much cooler than the Inc.
OMAP, 45nM FTW!

I like the screen size, the feel, the CALL QUALITY!!!, the .6 inches makes a difference to me and my eyes. I can tell you more when I play with it more. So far, I've put all my apps back and I've bought beautiful widgets. I'm very happy.

I must agree with you on so many points with the X.
The more I use it. The more I enjoy it.
You know for sure I had real issues with the Incredible when I went back to a Storm1 for about a month!!

I am so happy with my purchase of the X.
Phone calls & using the speakerphone are an absolute pleasure.
The size of the phone suits me as well.
Inc. was just too small for me.
The larger screen size on the X is such a plus to have.
My hat is really off to Motorola & Texas Instruments etc. for bringing such hardware like the X to us all.

Better keyboard(less wrong keys hit)
battery life way better then with the inc
notification led's are so much stronger you can actually see it no matter what angle
Screen makes it easier to view in sunlight
Don't have to wait 3 months to get a hold of the phone

i decided to stick with my incredible, however if the x didn't have the encrypted bootloader and had vanilla android i'd probably be all over it...also i could do without the physical buttons on the bottom.
