x pics vs inc pics

Honestly, you really need to mess with the settings. When I first started messing around with the camera, most of my photos came out looking washed and overexposed. Though I will agree, I hope Moto fixes the camera as it is.

Agreed, have you seen the other X photos on the forums? Big difference, no haze.

OP: Check the lens to make sure there isn't a big smudge.

Does look rather hazy but you need to post originals. Mine look hazy when compressed down too. How do the originals compare?

The slightest smudge on the camera will make it look like crap.

Check your Scene mode... I was in macro and was getting soft images. Switched it to Auto and it cleared up.

Hi,
I have the same problem, i have inc too. so when i compare it side by side x just sucks bad.I also did have hdmi to connect to tv,which also looks like crap. Its going back to VZ tommorow. I guess i will try an exchange prior to returning it completely as I do like the big screen. I still feel its not going to be as good as the pics i saw above?? Nervous about new x??

Pressing the shutter can move the phone and cause the pictures to be blurry. See if they are better when it is sitting on something.

I just returned mine to the store. It seems there was broken camera that's why it was taking gloomy pics. Auto focus was not working and Len had a inbuilt problem as per VZ tech. I am awaiting for mine just ordered from store, looks like many with same problems are having camera issues. I would suggest to exchange it. I am still nervous about the new one that I will get in 10 days,shipping date is 27. Let's cross the fingers!!!
