I have had my EVO since June 4th @ 9am and have loved it ever since. This past weekend my family and I went away and got a chance to use my EVO navigation and man, I love this thing even more.
Sidebar:
I get generally 22 to 30 hours on my EVO battery normal use I know there are super power users out there but that is not me. I am surfing playing with apps for maybe 1.5 hours. Checking texts and emails constantly normal to heavy phone calls. NOT Rooted, Juice defender / App Killer and typical things turned off that everyone does to conserve battery as well as app maintence.
Besides that this weekend I plugged the phone into a car charger and was able to use without error (driver error excluded) navigation and maps and got excellent turn by turn directions, the AroundMe and Yelp Apps as well as the DolphinHD browser aided us in finding things quickly and with ease. This helps when you have a 3Yr Old and a 1 Year Old and in-laws with you.
My wife has the iPhone 3Gs and although it is a decent phone it is no Android and certianly no EVO. She could not even download move clips for the kids to watch on the crappy At&t network. While navigating during a long stretch of road the EVO on sprint downloaded with ease and continued navigation without missing a beat.
Took pictures and video all day @ Hershey park and had 40% remaining for the evening.
LOVE THIS PHONE!
