Sell my eris with? I was thinking maybe froyo would be a nice selling point or should i go back to stock with no root for this. Any ideas guys? Hopefully this doesn't make anyone mad it is just time to part ways with my eris.
Sell it in factory condition, and for a "nominal" fee you can root it for the buyer. then create a "menu" of ROMs for the buyer to select from with fees associated with them. Made to order!

I would still say factory condition, but willing to root. Not really charge for this, just as a way to entice a buyer. Nice to reach people of different abilities/knowledge.
I'd say factory as well. I would guess that the majority of people looking to buy a phone on ebay would skip your listing if it were rooted. The main reason for someone to buy an already rooted phone is because they don't know how to root, but then they probably wouldn't know how to load custom roms and such, so not even sure if there is much of a customer base for it.

Ya both of you are probably right. Can someone point me to the thread that tells me how to unroot back to 1.5 please? I searched earlier and couldn't find it
