QUESTIONS!!!! on Captivate

I bought my Captivate and am a Android convert from Iphone and many Windows Mobile devices. So far I like the phone and the app store however am annoyed I can't get outside android programs to load. I have seen the sticky on this but am leery to attempt it.

In the meantime I have some questions.

1. Is there a regular way most people use to move their movie files over to this phone? I tried doubleTwist, however I have selected just one folder and it grabs everything in all media folders and I have deselected looking at Windows Media Player and Itunes so this is causing me much frustration. Is there an easier way?

2. I just realized that the phone doesn't utilize an alarm clock feature. I know this is very minor, I am assuming there is an app for that......

3. Any advice an a good ebook reader for this phone?

I know I have more, but I'll stop here for now. The syncing part is just driving me nuts!

1. You can try using Samsung's Kies program (only currently available through international websites, even though it installs fine). Or you can drag and drop things around in doubleTwist instead of using the Sync feature. You can use Windows Media Player as well. Oh and Winamp.

2. Umm.. the alarm clock is under the Clock in the Applications ;)

3. The Kindle app is available on the Marketplace.
