Muddy Images on my wallpaper

I downloaded and tried to use the attached image as a wallpaper. I wanted the word Android in the middle and the Droid leaning in from the left side of the phone. So when I tried to set it as my wall paper I had to crop it. After cropping the area around the word Android and around each of the small droids in the background got pretty muddy and distorted looking.

Can one of you guys help me out so it will look a little sharper around the edges instead of washed out looking?

Well, if you're using that image, it's really a lot smaller than you'd like for a wallpaper. I found a larger version and moved some stuff around to center the lettering. You don't say what phone you have, but I'm guessing this should work.

Hope this works better for you.

Thanks for the fast response.. And sorry I didn't say the phone model. It's a motorola droid.

Ok, well glad that worked. Here's one in the right size for your phone. Had to lose some of the left side of the android to keep the letters centered. Whatever works best for you...

Thanks alot! Mind if I bug you with one more request? Is there any way that you could make one that is just the multi colored smaller droids in the back as well?

Also if you could do this would they look rough around the edges once I set it as my wallpaper the same way the current one looks?

Sure, no prob. This is nothing. Take a look at "Also willing to make wallpapers" a few posts bellow. all 7 pages and counting! ;)

It shouldn't look fuzzy around the edges. That's really odd. Are you enlarging them on the linked page with the magnifying glass in the upper right before saving? Do other wallpapers look fuzzy too?

Anyway - link:

Yeah for some reason they do look a little fuzzy. When I download them they look pristine... But when I pull up the file and try to set it as my wall paper and select the image with the crop tool the area between the lil droids look kinda washed out.. Hard to explain. But still thanks for the help bro!
