Hey guys and gals. Im trying to figure out is there a program where I can transfer all my music from my laptop on windows to my unrooted htc evo. Been looking through all the forums but havent seen any. My nephew broke my usb so it has to be OTA.

Now the icon problem. I recently downloaded a icon set from someone on these forums. It has talk text web icons. They are in like square bubbles. Their white and it says like Talk in big letters and dialer under. Then like Text in big letters and messengers under them. Wondering if there are anymore icons like that or if anyone could lead me in the right direction. I appreciate the help.

Ok last one lol. I want to post my screen on my evo. My apple killer is unrooted
and I do not have a usb. Is there anyway I can take a screenshot of my phone and get it on the forums without being rooted or having a usb?

There is a great program called andFTP. It allows you to connect to FTP servers from your phone. Then download an FTP server program for your computer, I use Xlight FTP. It only takes a couple minutes to set up and I get good up/down speeds when on the same network, and resonable speeds over 3g.

Did your nephew break your usb on your laptop or your phone? Im confused about that part.

Getting started by adding a new virtual server and an anonymous user
Follow this tutorial, its very simple and easy. Tells you how to set up users, folder permisions and all that jazz.

You will also want to look at this site for enabling UPnP if you are behind a router, this tells you how to do that. How to setup UPnP when Xlight FTP Server is behind broadband routers?

Im am not at home right now, so I dont have all my settings in front of me, but if you need more help I will try to assist you.

Try Dropbox if you're looking at under 2GB or willing to pay for more storage.

You can also try Astro File Manager and the SMB Module to connect to network shares over wifi and copy data straight to your phone. This isn't that fast, however, and I've noticed that it pauses when I lock the phone. It's good if you're on the phone anyway and let the transfer happen in the background.

Finally, you can get a USB reader for your micro SD card and transfer the files directly to your card from your PC (you will need long nails or tweezers to extract the SD card from the Evo).
