Calendar on the status bar

Hello everybody,

I just got the eris for fathers day. I have been trying to use the calendar. When I set up an event for the same day the eris will alert me and put a calandar in my status bar. But if I set up an event for the next day it will alert me but no calendar in the status bar. Why is this? What am I doing wrong?

What is your reminder time set to? I have noticed that future appointments will show up as a reminder, but not as a calender event in the status bar until the time of appointment actually happens.

I set it to 5 minutes. After the five minutes it reminds me again and every five minutes after that. But no calendar in the status bar even after the event

Make sure to enable notifications in the app itself, as they are turned off by default. When I used it, I set it to put my next 2 events in the notification bar.
