Do people lie about their phones to make themselves feel better? Like saying they have 30 hours of battery life with heavy usage, they never lag and they run 10 apps at a time..just some people seem to make crazy claims that only a handful of people have experienced..Do you think they maybe exagerate or lie about this to make themselves feel better about their purchase or encourage others that its a good phone to buy?

Obviously phone performance is a matter of perception. Maybe they are coming from one of these:

In any case what is important is that you are happy with your phone. Don't be jealous of other peoples fantasies, have your own! :)

My 4G radio has been scanning for four days straight as I have been driving cross-country with GPS on and Navigation pulled up with my screen set to never turn off. All the while, my phone has been downloading full-length HD movies, and I have been chatting with friends on Gchat almost incessantly. I also have all accounts, including Twitter, Facebook, Weather, and Google, set to update every ten minutes.

I brought a car charger with me on my trip, but I haven't had to use it yet. My battery is at 92%. The first 5% went in the first ten minutes, but the next 3% has lasted three day, 23 hours, and 50 minutes.

I have to admit, though, that I'm not typing this message on my phone. Instead, I'm using the wireless tether, and I've managed to connect 14 other wifi devices, including the laptop I'm currently typing on.

I don't see what all the complaints are about.

Let's see... Yes to everything you said. Remember, "misery loves company."

Okay, I don't want anyone to think they should expect that kind of battery life really. The truth is that I was able to pull that off by rooting--and NAND unlocking, of course--and uninstalling voicemail. Turns out voicemail is a massive battery hog. Since uninstalling voicemail, I've swapped out my battery for a seidio 300 mah reduced-life battery. It ships with a replacement battery door. My phone is now .4 inches thick.

How did you fit this in your phone? Or did you use the jumper cables?
