So i got this for my desktop but it came with the free battery so yeah.
I haven't text the battery yet but i'll keep you guys updated to see how long it last i don't have a problem with battery life but i spare battery is always nice

I have the same dock at work and love it. I'm going to buy another one for home and get one of the combo with spare batteries.

That blue LED is BRIGHT. It paints a 4-5' round circle on the ceiling at night. I've got my own private bat signal. At home I'd probably paint over the LED to keep my bedroom dark.

Thanks for the info. Pretty nice and a sweet deal! If I would have seen this a few weeks ago I would have been all over it. But, as of lately, my battery is great so I dont need it. Seems like my settings and the OAT update did alot for me. Usually take my phone off the charger at 5am and make it to midnight. I leave GPS and WiFi or 3G connected constantly, too. But for you, Enjoy!

I bought just the dock. It's only a couple dollars more to get the batteries + the dock so it helps justify buying a second dock - lol.

I'll post again when I get the 2nd dock + batteries.

oh ok yeah i ma take both batteries to work to see how they perform, i know my regular battery gives me like13-15 hrs with my regular use( calendar, tasks, newsrob, check the forums, email and texting, with all the social networking accounts) so i'll update tomorrow

do we know if these chargers will provide a sufficient enough charge for the evo? it isnt OEM so there is a chance that the charge may not charge the evo to full capacity, sorta like how cheap chargers dont charge your phone to its max capacity..im not sure how exactly it works and all..i am interested in picking up a dock for my Evo i just dont want to damage the battery by using a dock that doesnt fully charge the battery

Nothing in this kit actually supplies power to the Evo. It is just a USB pass-through. If you want OEM charge, plug the USB plug into the OEM AC-USB adaptor deal. I have it plugged into my desktop PC at work and It topped off my battery to 100% while playing MP3s all day.

The AC adaptor you see in the ebay ad powers the spare battery charger only and is a mini USB plug vs the micro USB on the Evo.

well is a dock for your pc so i guess your safe on the point i mean you can use the kickstand but i just hate laying the phone on the desk just like i did with my iphone or ipod i have a dock too i want a dock with speakers tho for my bedside if you guys know of one let me know

it comes with the power cable is mini usb(not micro usb like the phone) and the usb cable comes connected too, so the usb cable is for the phone and the power cable is for the spare battery

im pretty sure they dont work well at all..im not interested in the battery so much, but the dock itself..i had one for my blackberry and i loved it. The spare battery will suit me just for when my OEM battery dies and i need a little bit of juice for a short ammount of time..instead of having to have the phone charge i can still be on the go with the spare battery

I dont think it will burn the phone and either way I got insurance and they can't prove that I use another battery tho
