All these reported 'problems'

don't think i've seen a lot of folks with a lot of problems -

there has been the hyper-ventilating over a non-issue, ie the death grip kills signal bars - suspect the next complaint will be the phone loses signal underwater

other than the gps issue some are having, the others seem to be odd software issues, ie alarm doesn't work, something doesn't sync, but nothing i can think of that is common to a good number of users like the gps issue

PS - just remembered, the Kies sync issue, that one does seem common but don't think it's the phones as much as the kies software - i haven't tried it myself, waiting for everyone to report it works and doesn't create issues

btw, mine is running 100%, GPS, compass, no lagging, everything normal

Same here. Kies is an issue but other than that I've had no more problems with my SGS than I've had with any other device that I've ever owned.

It was very different to my previous phones and that presented a bit of a shock, but once I got used to the new format, I was hooked. I remain delighted with my SGS after almost a month of owning it.

I'm happy with mine. Have had it for a week now and installed lots of apps and games... Use a mac so no idea about the Kies issue. Have not noticed any other issues mentioned above.

Battery seems to run low quickly, although I have been on the market alot and also doing alot of 3G browsing etc... Once I get back to normal usage(not so much market browsing and messing around with app settings and configurations) I am sure it will be better.

i was referring to the fact that most of his software products get rushed to market before they've been fully reviewed/confirmed 100% operational

then he issues "service packs" and like with XP, he had already released Vista and been selling it for 9 months before XP was finalized into a fairly stabile platform

but now it's so stable, like engadget reported, 74% of the business users are running XP and don't want to "upgrade" to vista or win 7

im loving my samsung... havent had any problems really that are worth shouting about... I had the kies problem, but all i do is restart my comp, plug in phone, then open kies and works every time.

Phone has not glitched... YES to bad battery life but that only because im going through my new phone phase and blitzing the battery. Yesterday after a full day it was still on 67%...

What i like most is being able to change the batter too!!! BONUS!!!! Samsung is leaving apple behind....
I uploaded my first HD Film to it today and OH MY IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!
