I think my google account was hacked!

This morning I pulled up my igoogle page on my Mac, and it showed my latitude location as Wicker Park, Chicago, about 45 miles away from where I am. I looked at my phone, and it pulled up the Chicago location, then jumped to my true location in Elgin, IL. So I let it sit, and it jumped back to Wicker Park. I did this a few times, then I thought my account might have been hacked, so I changed my password. It hasn't happened since. Unfortunately I didn't have Latitude history on, so I don't know exactly where it was that was coming up, although it was always on the same house.

Also, I had a strange email in my spam, empty, no subject, from unknown. It mysteriously disappeared.

What do you think? Might the Latitude thing have been a glitch? Or should I call the police because all my personal information has just been comprimised, although I can't recall the exact location of the mysterious Latitude?

Go on your computer and go to http://gmail.com and login. Go to the bottom and find "Last account activity" and click on "Details". Does any IP address look strange to you? If so copy the IP and go to ARIN: WHOIS Database Search and paste the IP into the field then submit.

Thank you for this information. It was inconclusive. It indicated the first log in today was at 9:58, and it only shows my ip address. However I do know that I was logged in prior to that, starting earlier than 9am, and even double checked because I had sent an email then. It does say that the time is displayed in my local time zone. Could prior log information have been deleted? I greatly appreciate your help!!!!!

I don't think it is possible to delete log information.
