Root leedroid installed but problem

hi i have installed leedroid rom 2.2 froyo with sense after rooting and all that on my phone.
I first backed thing like my contacts and thing up with mybackup and then i put them back on my phone after i had rooted and flashed from the sd card.
all well so far.
i want to be able to make use of the apps2sd but i dont know how to i read that the leedroid rom came with it but how do i get it to work?
i have read something about partitioning the sdcard but i dont know how or anything please help thanks

which version ROM are you using?
you can partition the card in ROM Manager (Ext 3, 512mb, 0mb swap)
Then on your main screen you will see MODInstall icon. If its set to auto then all apps will save on your partition

Try doing things in this order
1. backup everything
2. Install ROM manager and format your SD card using it
3. Flash the new ROM and radio if needed
4. Start it all up again and restore your backup (you will need to download mybackup or thatever you used first)

Basically if you make sure you have the partitioning correct before you install the rom it will all happen automatically. I didn't realise this and repeated the sequence above.

So once I backup everything to my sd card then I copy them to my comp and then f oi rmat the sd card and install the rom then I copy the backup back to the card to put back on my phone is that correct?

When you do the backup, it is creating a snapshot of your phone status including your accounts, mail, etc. This gets stored on your SD card. You then copy the whole contents of the SD card to computer. Then ROM manager creates the a2sd partition and in doing so, will format your SD card. Then flash whatever ROM you need and once back up again, install the backup programme, copy all the SD contents across and restore your sytstem. I have found that Titanium pro is better at this than mybackup. Hope that helps

I would like to know where in ROM Manager I can choose Ext3 in partitioning the SD Card? I can see where you can choose the file ext and swap files which basically comes up after choosing to partition.

Cant actually remember if it lets you choose ext3. anyway I did it through there and works fine

where do i find the titanim backup file on my sd card once it has completed so i can copy it to my pc?
also where do i then put it on the newly formatted sd card so i can restore the contacts and things its saved?

easiest way to go with sdcard backups is just copy everything on the card to a folder in your computer called sdcard or something. Then just copy everything back exactly where it came from.
