Qik for Evo update hints Froyo?

I saw on my phone that Qik had an update and when I looked to see what was new, it said bug fixes, and froyo support....so is froyo right around the corner for the Evo?

I saw that as well. Perhaps just getting ready ahead of it, instead of getting caught behind the curve.

That, and the changes to the Market, with the Sprint tab replacing the Download one.

I have this sense something is coming sooner rather than alter, and I'm looking forward to it. Sprint and HTC need to get a solid 2.2 out the door ASAP, and make further tweeks to the phone, pre-installed apps to further battery life.

Well, think Nexus One is running 2.2, so all the apps in Market need to be able to run on that phone right now.

Am I missing something? Has anybody been able to use this app to stream live to the internet consistently without delays longer than 30 seconds or buffering problems?

I keep trying without any success. Before they prepare for the update, I think they need to actually get the program to do consistently what they promised it to do. Until then, I won't be using it very much.
